VMware Kicks Off vStart Technology Day Event in Vietnam
Vietnam, November 30, 2011— VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, today held its annual VMware vStart Technology Day 2011 at the Melia Hanoi Hotel.
Speaking at a press conference, Ed Lenta, General Manager, VMware ASEAN, said: “Each organization’s IT and business requirements are different and there is no one-cloud-fits-all approach. We understand this reality well, and that’s why customers in Vietnam are looking to our industry-leading products like VMware vSphere® to transform their datacenters into simplified cloud computing infrastructures.”
The full-day event saw VMware experts sharing their leading insights around the state of virtualization and cloud computing adoption in Vietnam, and how cloud computing can be a source of competitive advantage. VMware will also hold a second vStart Technology Day event in Ho Chi Minh City on 2 December 2011.
“We’re excited to work hand-in-hand with customers and partners to accelerate their expertise and proficiency with VMware’s complete and robust virtualization platform, and to build the local expertise needed to transform IT in Vietnam,” said Lenta.
