Horizon (with View) Thin Client

Vmware Ready End User Computing

The Horizon Thin Client program enables thin client manufacturers to ensure that their thin client/end point solutions (hardware and software) are compatible with Horizon solutions, whether integrating the Horizon Client binaries or a custom client developed to the Horizon specifications.

Customers have the assurance that products which have earned the VMware Ready for End-User Computing logo will work effectively in their virtualized environments.

Upon successful completion of the Horizon Thin Client certification process and the execution of the applicable agreements with VMware, partners can leverage the VMware Ready for End-User Computing logo in their marketing and sales efforts and gain the right to redistribute the Horizon Client software. Qualifying products are posted in the VMware Compatibility Guide (VCG) as an IHV product, and partners must post their products on the VMware Solution Exchange (VSX).

Requirements

Partners must be enrolled in the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program at the Elite or Global level.

For each region where the qualified product is sold, partners must maintain VMware Certified Professional status for technical support, as well as one VMware Salesperson and one VMware Technical Salesperson certification status.

Other requirements include:

  • VMware program agreement/addendum signature.
  • Adherence to product support requirements as documented in the program guide.
  • TSANet membership and an entry in the VMware custom TSANet portal.
  • Publish product on the VMware Solution Exchange.
  • General support on Horizon and vSphere features is purchased separately.
