Description

This appliance helps developers of web application, web sites or Web 2.0 applications to maintain and develop on a single machine without having troubles to configure each application (host), with different settings. Because of its size its also possible to take your "Development Environment" with you, wherever you go.

The Appliance basis is a Gentoo Linux 2007.0 Hardened. Everything is minimalistic and so its very flexible for you to install, configure and develop your applications with their environment.

This appliance network is configured over DHCP. So you can use it in your existing network environment.

For accessing development hosts over the network, samba and nfs shares already prepared. Use the appliance IP Adress to access this shares.

Helping scripts to create, update, manage and delete hosts are available:
* vhost-create
* vhost-update
* vhost-delete
