A VM using Instant SqueezeCenter (b2).

SqueezeCenter is Slim Devices/Logitech's jukebox back-end for it's line of networked music players, the SqueezeBox and Transporter. This VM provides an instant server for these devices, ready to serve your music once you have loaded that music into the VM.

This VM takes the Instant SqueezeCenter (ISC) idea [a pre-built Linux install CD w/SqueezeCenter installation scripted] to the next logical step and makes a virtual appliance out of it. This VM has been updated from the release of ISC b2 with a newer build of SC v7, #16744.

VM has a 20GB sparsedisk in 2GB segments. Format is Gen5 VM.

Default username is 'root' password 'vmware'. Default password to attach to the share is 'squeezecenter' password 'vmware'.

Usage:

* Run the VM.
* Log in as root and perform command 'ifconfig' to discover the IP address (assigned via DHCP).
* Log out of the VM and run a browser.
* Browse to the discovered IP port 9000 (http://discoveredIP:9000/) and go through the setup routine. Use defaults for the file system directories.
* Attach to the VM as a Windows share (SMB) at the discovered IP using credentials above.
* Load music. Rescan database via browser UI.
* Enjoy
