JumpBox for phpBB 3.0.0

phpBB is the most widely used Open Source discussion forum system. phpBB 3.0.0 is included.

Description

phpBB is the most widely used Open Source discussion forum system. With a large and highly customisable set of key features, coupled with a standards compliant interface, phpBB will grow with, and compliment your website. It's a great tool for simple things like staying in touch with friends or more complex uses like a large discussion group for a corporate web site. This JumpBox bundles phpBB version 3.0.0

All JumpBox appliances include a friendly web based configuration tool that guides you through the setup process for the application. There's no need to touch a command line to have a basic install of the application running.

When you log into the application use the user "admin" with the password you provide during initial setup. The distribution also contains a README.txt file that provides a little more detail about usage.

JumpBox appliances are updated on a regular basis with the latest operating system and application fixes. This appliance is running on the JumpBox platform 1.0.5.

See RELEASE-NOTES.txt in the download for more detail on the changes and a list of known issues with this release.

Support for this JumpBox is available through the JumpBox Assurance program and the easy to use JumpBox experience is available for a growing selection of applications.

We also recently rolled out the JumpBox Proving Grounds to bring out new JumpBoxes more rapidly. Membership in the Proving Grounds requires approval, but you can request access by visiting http://www.jumpbox.net. The following applications are available as JumpBoxes through the Proving Grounds.
