These instructions assume basic skills to use VMware.

Virtual Appliances are one of the easiest ways to start using virtualization.
This appliance is testet under VMware player, Server, Workstation and ESX.

To run this appliance under VMware ESX 3:
Please use the free VMWare Converter to transfer the appliance to your ESX Server.

VMware products are available at: http://www.vmware.com/

VMware tools are already installed.

Starting Proxmox Mail Gateway Virtual Appliance
=====================================================

1. You must have VMware Player, VMware Workstation, VMware Server or VMware ESX
2. Download the Virtual Appliance and unpack the zip file.
3. Use your VMware product to open and run proxmox-mailgateway.vmx file
4. Observe your VMware console: Login with user 'root' and password 'admin'
5. Type 'proxsetup' to adjust the IP configuration
6. Type 'reboot' to activate changes
7. After reboot, point your brower to the IP address specified to access
the web interface (https://youripaddress/)
8. In order to see full functionality and to process your emails please
generate and upload a trial/free license key with your mail domains.
