JasperReports is the world's most popular open source reporting engine. It is a pure Java library that can be embedded into any application to provide rich print and web reporting as well as file output for further analysis. Use JasperReports for tasks as routine as printing invoices or as sophisticated as placing accurate and timely operational information on decision maker's web pages and spreadsheets. The JasperReports Virtual Appliance contains a sample web application with JasperReports embedded inside of it. It contains a set of sample reports using sales data from SugarCRM. When you launch the appliance you will be taken directly to the desktop. You can launch the sample application by double clicking on the web icon labelled "JasperReports for SugarCRM" in the upper left hand corner of the desktop.
