Now available as a stable beta release FreeNATS is an open-source GPL licenced network monitoring, alerting and reporting system.Test types currently supported are:- Web Time and Size- SMTP- IMAP and POP3- ICMP (Ping)- MySQL Timing and Rows- TCP Port OpenAlerts can be made to either generate email (including short email-to-SMS compatible messages) or request a URL with the alert message encoded.Other features include:- Test Scheduling (don't test during reboot windows)- Graphical Summary- Live Monitor- Custom Views (Publishable to third-party websites)- Service Availability ReportingFreeNATS is available as PHP source (for *nix MySQL environments) or a pre-packaged virtual appliance.Documentation and support are available through the project homepage and forum.
