Running Linux on Windows XP
Securing your Internet Access
Evaluating Open Source Software

Carrying a Linux Box on USB Disk
Starting at a minimum of 2,5 GByte real disk space, OBS Virtual Webfire incorporates a virtual disk capacity of 8 GByte, which will explode automatically. The Virtual Box of Tricks can best be displayed on a monitor resolution of 1024x768.
2. The Application was built with VMware Workstation 5.5 by installing SuSE 10 from DVD. Firstly, Firefox Browser was downloaded from the internet and got installed on XP for remote access. Secondly, a small Webapplication, which can easily be embraced & enhanced, was written and got installed in the Apache root directory. Finally, the Virtual Appliance was tested on 2 XP standard computers (SP1 and SP2) with different CPU types (Intel, AMD) against both, a TFT and a CRT Display and on a Notebook from a USB disk to test minimum memory allocation, network configuration and portability.
