The application was built on the VMware Browser Appliance. The specific LAMP products were installed using both the supplied instructions, and normally web interfaces when the product was first activated. The currently supplied documentation in the Virtual Machine does provide links to installation procedures of products, however additional documentation not complete is intended to be more specific and reproducable. This would involve receating the process as initially screen prints were not taken. My intended goal is to provide a a 2 CD pack. The first CD has VMplayer in Win/Linux/RPM formats and the default VMware BrowserAppliance (All software from VMWare). The second CD is UltimateLAMP. Combined in a DVD 2x case along with perhaps a small booklet of a few pages. My initial version 0.1 was approximately 750MB. My second version 0.2 while containing addition products had a reasonable amount of disk usage removed, but it increased to 800MB. 3. Start VMPlayer, open Virtual Machine, then leveraging the VMware Browser Appliance on which this Virtual Machine is built, the starting browser and new index page will guide the user to all applications, instructions and documentation which is self contained in the Virtual Machine. As mentioned, this appliance was built on the VMware supplied browser appliance which includes Ubuntu 5.10, FireFox (1.0, 1.5) and VMware specific configuration. As both the product list and versions is detailed and still evolving, an indepth list of individual products with versions and licenses including product license links is available at http://ultimatelamp.arabx.com.au/UltimateLAMP.htm and http://ultimatelamp.arabx.com.au/license.htm. The majority of products are licenced under GPL. Further advice or input may alter the list of products that can be provided depending on licensing. (not an area of my expertise) At present, the content provide solely by myself is licenced under Creative Commons. Disclaimer. I've used the VMware Browser Appliance as a starting point (why re-invent the wheel). I could have just as easily started with a Ubuntu Install and recreated. I've yet to seek any formal approval for this process, and indeed given I came across the challenge by accident and have only had a short period of time to put my ideas together, this is a necessary step I intend to take. If the reviewer of this application can provide some guidance I would be most appreciative.
