Description

Biscom Delivery Server (BDS) is an enterprise secure file transfer (SFT) solution that enables users to send files, documents, and messages securely while maintaining a complete transaction and audit trail. Business benefits include fewer help desk calls to support FTP, elimination of email attachment issues, reduced overnight delivery service costs, and faster, more secure delivery of critical documents and files.

Because BDS balances an organization's need for security – encrypting large files and documents at rest and in transit – without requiring knowledge workers to change their accustomed business processes and workflows, workers can manage their own secure and large file delivery needs.

BDS Solutions:

FTP Replacement – BDS supports large file transfer that is easier to use, and more seucre than FTP.

Email Attachment Management – Enhance your Microsoft Outlook client to support large and secure file transfers without changing user behavior.

Compliance – Help ensure your organization is meeting your state, federal, and industry compliance requirements, including HIPAA, SOX, and GLBA.

Automated File Transfers – Create your own automation tools to send and receive files on a pre-defined schedule or on demand.

Web Services APIs and SDKs – BDS APIs support .NET, Java, Web services, Ruby, Python, and other programming and scripting languages.

BDS pricing starts at $5000 for 25 senders for a perpetual license (not an annual subscription). Additional sender licenses are eligible for volume discounts.

Features & Benefits

Biscom Delivery Server keeps secure file transfer simple, manageable, and cost-effective. Biscom's secure file transfer solutions offer a simple, easy-to-use tool that integrates with an organizations existing messaging and document management solutions to prevent data loss and unauthorized file transfers. The primary benefits of deploying BDS in your organization include:

Ease of Use
BDS makes secure file transfer an extension of a users existing workflow – not an unfamiliar, disconnected task – which means users are more likely to adopt it. Complete with a rich Web interface, BDS requires minimal training for users and administrators. And, because BDS does not require any special client software to retrieve a delivery, it can be adopted easily by any partners, customers, and 3rd parties. An Outlook add-in provides email attachment management to send large or confidential files directly from Outlook without requiring users to learn a new system.

Security
Your files and documents that are your intellectual property, contain personally identifiable information, or any kind of content that needs to be protected and kept confidential, should not be sent over unsecure channels such as email and FTP. BDS uses multiple layers of security, from user authentication that can leverage your existing AD or LDAP directory service, encrypting all Web traffic ("in transit") though SSL, and encrypting the files while stored ("at rest").

Reporting and Tracking
Every transaction the occurs in the BDS application is being logged, and you can generate reports on user activity, download activity, who is sending file and to whom, and when recipients actually retrieve a file.
