This VM comes with a collection of tools aimed and studying and refining your ethical hacking teqniques. Links on the desktop points to most used tools and scanner. other tools have been installed but are NOT conigured and active. You have to do this depending on your requirement and local setup. There is only a root user with password "password" configured. Wherever possible all other passwords was kept the same. Be very careful, you have Admin priviledges using root. On the desktop is a collection of Microsoft based tools. Hacmebank & Hacmebooks are provided together with documentation and supporting files. The aim of this is to setup the Hacme sites on an MS PC and use this tool to learn about hacking and vulnerabilities. You can also make VM's of your MS Hacme victims an use it all in virtual environment. Furthermore VM appliances can be downloaded to simulate more "Real World" tests. ie. Download the IPCop appliance, use it with the othe VM'syou created and you can test how tools/networks respond in a firewalled environment. This will teach you firewall/IDS detection evasion and even how to setup a Firewall to protect you from Hackers ;o) The NoMachine (NX) client is also provided. This will allow you to connect remotely to the VM.
