Virtual Appliances PostgreSQL Server is a free to use nano-sized virtual machine with PostgreSQL and phpPgAdmin for easy admin

Description

Virtual Appliances PostgreSQL Server is a free to use nano-sized virtual machine hosting PostgreSQL and phpPgAdmin for easy web admin.

The Virtual Appliances MySQL Server is just 14MB to download but provides almost 1.8GB of internal space for use by PostgreSQL.

Virtual Appliances are designed for enterprise use. Support and service are available through the website. Virtual Appliances can be customized to distribute your application through a OEM partnership.

INSTRUCTIONS

The default username and password are admin:admin We recommend changing this through the configuration interface as soon as the machine is deployed the first time.

PostgreSQL starts and intializes automatically and is ready to use after boot.

When starting the appliance, observe the VMware console to get the IP address of the appliance. Then use the IP address to visit the administration interface running under https on port 8000. If you already have an appliance running, you can update the system information on the administration console, and a URL will appear that you can use to visit the newly started appliance.

See the 'readme' file in the download package (zip or tar.bz) for information about how to get the appliance serving web content.
