I created a virtual machine with Sabayon 3.2 mini edition
(release announcement: http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2643 ).

Sabayon is the bleeding edge; based on Gentoo , getting more and more popular as a desktop distribution.

It's a 568.4MB selfextracting zip file, extracted size is about 3 gb (yes, this is the mini edition!)
Vmware tools are installed, sabayonuser and root passwords are: password
