These instructions assume basic skills to use VMware.
Virtual Appliances are one of the easiest ways to start using virtualization.
Please use the free VMware player or VMware server (beta), or VMware Workstation:

Starting Proxmox Mail Gateway 1.7 - Virtual Appliance
=====================================================
1. You must have VMware Player, VMware Workstation 5.x or Vmware Server
2. Download the Virtual Appliance and unpack the zip file.
3. Use your VMware product to open and run Proxmox-Mail-Gateway-1.7.vmx file
4. Observe your VMware console: Login with user 'root' and password 'admin'
5. Type 'proxsetup' to adjust the IP configuration
6. Type 'reboot' to activate changes
7. After reboot, point your brower to the IP address specified to access
the web interface (https://youripaddress/)
8. In order to see full functionality generate and upload a trial/free license key
