tgvs - TurboGears Virtual Server

tgvs is a VMware appliance target to study, experiment or demonstrate the fundamentals of TurboGears.

Description

tgvs is a VMware appliance target to study, experiment or demonstrate the fundamentals of TurboGears.

It's principal characteristics are:

* Built using Ubuntu Server Edition, 6.06 LTS with Long Term Support.
* Comes with TurboGears 1.0.1 and all of it's dependecies pre-installed.
* It also has whatwhat pre-installed. (Same version shown in TurboGears Book).
* Databases included: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite.
* Other programs: ipython, emacs, vim, nano, mc, ytree, nmap, elinks, etc...
* Apache HTTP Server, OpenSSH, and Samba are also enabled.
* There is a copy of PuTTY at Samba's public directory to be used on MS-Windows clients.
