Allard filetransfer appliance - perfect ftp replacement

Hi All I procured this product recently. Initially I had some config issues which were promptly addressed by their support team. We went in for this product as an ftp replacement. Of late we started to receive lot of files via yousendit.com etc which further complicated matters coz I have restricted large file downloads too. I purchased this product about 3 weeks back and got it running immediately. A demo was given to various user groups and it clicked!!! Everyone praised the product (my end users). It answers one simple set of straightforward needs 1. Replace FTP system totally 2. Provide secured transactions via SSL - you can also define what ports the access should run on!!! 3. Files are automatically removed after designated aging. Lots more features too little space here If you dont worry about "SOX" and gloves go ahead!!!

We deployed the Allardsoft appliance over two years ago, choosing it over other paid, hosted services and have not looked back. First, let's say that the support for this product should be a model for other software developers - easy to access, direct contact, quick response and attentive to specific requsts. The interface is simple and clear (even keeping current with browser standards), and can be modified easily enough to closely emulate a corporate web. File uploading and access has very few problems - in fact, our issues usually result from internet anomalies. The application installs and runs without issue every day, and updates are a snap to apply. Thumbs UP on this one!

I have now used the product for just over 1 year. The development is active, and quickly resolves outstanding issues. Johan responds quickly and professionally. Feature upgrades are nice, and he listens to his users. My end users have found the product to be easy to use. I appreciate that it gets those big files out of the email system. Overall, I highly recommend the product.

This product has been developed with close attention to user needs and has everything from self-registration, to LDAP integration, drobbox features and on and on. The product has become more and more feature rich with each release and we have found it to be extrememy robust and stable. In the infrequent times we've required support AllardSoft has always been responsive. A+

Does exactly what it says. Plenty of options to configure it like you want. 2 minor support tickets were answered and fixed promptly. I would recommend this to anyone that needs secure transfer of large files.
