Certified Virtual Appliance Program
As of April 8, 2009, the VMware Certified Virtual Appliance logo is no longer available and the terms of the Certified Virtual Appliance Program have been transitioned to the VMware Ready Virtual Appliance Program .
Virtual appliances that were listed under the Certified Production Ready category on the Virtual Appliance Marketplace are now listed under the Eval category.
Virtual appliances developed and submitted for testing prior to July 7, 2008 which meet the requirements of the VMware Ready Virtual Appliance Program are eligible to use the VMware Ready logo, per the requirements of that program.
Any virtual appliance that was developed and submitted for testing prior to July 7, 2008 but which does not meet the VMware Ready Virtual Appliance Program requirements may continue to use the VMware Certified Virtual Appliance logo for 1 product revision or 6 months – whichever is shorter.
