VMware and Unisys have partnered to offer VMware ESX Server with Unisys ES7000 Servers – Unisys has ten ES7000 servers models with Intel Xeon processors MP and Intel Itanium 2 processors. Investec Bank South Africa’s Central IT department partnered with Unisys to develop and implement a centralized real-time server infrastructure that combines Unisys ES7000 Enterprise Servers with VMware® ESX Server technology into an adaptive, flexible virtualized environment. This new solution provides Central IT with a strong platform from which to improve the efficiency and flexibility of its server-based services and provide a strong core for future strategic IT initiatives.

P&O Ferrymasters
P&O Ferrymasters, a multimodal freight management company, simplified operations, improved manageability and control, and enhanced service delivery by further consolidating and virtualizing its commodity server infrastructure onto Unisys ES7000 Enterprise Servers.

Unisys Internal Transformation

Unisys Engineering Resource Lab
Unisys uses its own powerful virtual orchestration solution for run book automation that streamlines and automates the provisioning of virtual server resources while minimizing operational costs. It allows us to quickly fulfill engineering equipment needs while enabling a more efficient and lower-cost approach via a common pool of shared server resources. This includes the use of Unisys ES7000 Enterprise Servers, with provisioning of individual systems via a VMware® ESX Server virtualization solution.
