Call for Technical Whitepapers

VMware invites key IBM technical staff to submit proposals for the creation of a cutting edge technical joint white paper.

Why Enter?

• Your name will be published with IBM and VMware, industry leaders in server virtualization
• It’s Free – no cost to submit abstract and all winning submissions are fully funded*
• VMware and IBM will provide assistance with writing and
• Upon publication of white paper, all authors (up to 6) will receive an iPod Nano

Requirements:

• Content must combine IBM servers and/or storage
• Content must include VMware software, particularly VMware ESX Server and VMware VirtualCenter
• Where possible, include integration with ISV application software
• Abstract must be at least 500 words
• Paper must be completed by June 1, 2006 (see due dates below)

Due Dates:

• Abstract due by April 1, 2006.
• Winning entries will be notified by April 15, 2006.
• Whitepapers due by June 1, 2006.
• iPod Nanos shipped to authors by July 15, 2006.
