Welcome Windows 10 to Your Mac

VMware Fusion 8 makes Windows 10 feel right at home on your Mac, whether you’re doing a fresh install for that brand new operating system experience, migrating your Windows 10 PC, or upgrading your Windows 7 or 8 virtual machines.

Run familiar Windows applications side-by-side with your favorite Mac applications, and seamlessly share files and folders between Windows and Mac. Take advantage of the latest features in Windows 10 like Cortana, the Microsoft speech-enabled virtual assistant, or run the all new Edge web browser alongside Safari.

Windows, Your Way

Full Screen View

For a complete Windows experience, run Windows in full screen on one display or across multiple displays connected to your Mac.

Single Window View

To keep your Windows applications separate from your Mac environment, run Windows in single window view.

Unity View

For a fully integrated experience, run Windows in Unity to run Windows applications on your Mac without seeing Windows.

Ready for El Capitan

With its under-the-hood performance improvements and overall smarter design, Fusion and El Capitan together give you a snappier, more fluid experience with Windows, while introducing new ways to do things on your Mac.

Use Fusion with the new Split Screen mode to have Windows seamlessly run side-by-side with Mac applications, or make a simple gesture while in Fusion’s Unity mode to engage the new Mission Control, letting you quickly glance at all of your open Windows and Mac applications at once.

Advanced Graphics for Work and Play

With added support for DirectX 10 and OpenGL 3.3, VMware Fusion gives you more responsive and fluid graphics for your day to day work while delivering maximum performance for highly demanding 3D applications like AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS. For even more power, you can allocate up to 2GB of video memory to a virtual machine, giving graphics-intensive applications an additional boost.

Beautifully Efficient

With an updated graphics engine and added support for iMac Retina 5K displays, Fusion lets you take full advantage of added processing power while delivering an incredibly crisp and fluid Windows on Mac experience. Whether you’re on the latest MacBook or MacBook Pro, Fusion ensures that every watt of power coming out of your Mac's battery is used as efficiently as possible. On multi-GPU Macs, Fusion 8 can automatically switch between the two GPUs depending on application needs to give you the best performance while least impacting battery life.
