Applying for opportunities:
Q. I submitted my resume – when should I hear back?
A. When you submit your resume through www.vmware.com/company/jobs/openings/ or through email to campus@vmware.com or mbarelations@vmware.com, you should have received a response verifying that we received your information. Please note that we receive a high volume of resumes on a daily basis and are unable to verbally or electronically respond to each applicant. We appreciate your interest in our opportunities and review each resume that is submitted to us in person and online. If there is a match, a recruiter will contact you to obtain initial information on your interest and availability. For internship opportunities, we are still reviewing and selecting candidates so you may receive contact through May 2009. For full-time opportunities, we actively consider resumes for up to six months and reach out to applicants daily. For detailed info, please view our Application Process.
Q. I already submitted a resume – should I submit again?
A. There is no need to resubmit your resume unless you have recently revised it or if it has been longer than six months since your last application.

We host all interviews at a local VMware, Inc. office or conduct interviews via phone. For full-time positions, we do both phone interviews and in person with finalists coming on-site to interview at the office where the job opening is located. For internship positions, we conduct two 45-minute phone interviews and then a hiring decision is made.
Intern Program:
