What hotel accommodations have been made for attendees and what are the associated costs?
Accommodations for the VMworld 2008 conference have been reserved for attendees at the hotels listed in the table below. Please do not call the hotel directly to book your reservation as your hotel room is booked through the VMworld 2008 registration system.
The room rates for all the designated VMworld 2008 hotels in Las Vegas are listed below and are based on availability. These rates are effective until August 19, 2008.

What is the hotel cancellation policy?
After August 19th, 2008 all cancellations must be made by contacting the hotel directly no later than 3pm, 3 days prior to arrival. Your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel less then 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. To cancel before August 19th, 2008 please log in to your account or contact the VMworld Registration Team at 800-365-2459 (USA and Canada only) or +1-203-851-7802 (International), or via email.
Is a deposit required to reserve a hotel room?
Yes, your credit card will be charged one night’s room rate plus tax when your reservation is received by the hotel. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations made by 3pm, three days prior to arrival.
Do I need to contact the hotel to book my reservation?
No, when you register online for the VMworld 2008 conference, we request your hotel choice, check-in and check-out dates, as well as credit card information. A hotel reservation will be made for you and guaranteed with your credit card.
Do I need to give a credit card to reserve my hotel room?
Yes, we will need a credit card to confirm your reservation at a designated VMworld 2008 hotel. The following credit cards are accepted: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Is parking available at the hotels reserved for VMworld? What is the cost?
Self parking and valet parking are available at the hotels. Please check with your hotel for more information.
What time is check-in and check-out at the hotels reserved for VMworld?
Check-in time is usually 3:00 p.m., and check-out time is usually 11:00 a.m., but these times may vary depending on the hotel. Please check with your hotel for check-in and check-out times.
Do the hotels reserved for VMworld have handicapped accessibility?
All hotels reserved for VMworld 2008 are in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and special rooms are available upon request.
Can I extend my hotel stay at the VMworld group rate?
Based on availability, the room rates for the VMworld 2008 hotel in Las Vegas are valid from September 14 -18, 2008.
How can I make changes to my hotel reservation?
Please contact the hotel(s) directly to make all changes, cancellations and inquires. Please contact customer service if additional assistance is needed
Is transportation provided from the airport to the hotel?
Transportation will not be provided. You will need to arrange for transportation from the airport to your hotel.
Do you have any agreements with airlines for conference discounts?
We do not have any agreements with airlines. However, we strongly encourage you to book your flights at least 21 days in advance to ensure a discounted price.
