Note: To use VirtualCenter 1.x, you will need a valid VirtualCenter 1.x serial number. You can redeem VMware Infrastructure 3 license activation codes for VirtualCenter 1.x serial numbers. VirtualCenter Agents which connect ESX Server 2.x hosts to VirtualCenter 1.x are no longer available for sale separately. However, the following license key can be used for up to 16-CPU configurations: 38EPE-GWQ46-YE3G1-5LPUH. This generic license key is limited to ESX Server 2.x / VirtualCenter 1.x instances and can be used for multiple ESX hosts. Customers should not register this license key to their store account.
