Overview
Under a joint development agreement, NEC will distribute and support VMware ESX and GSX Server on selected NEC industry-standard General Purpose and High-Availability (Fault Tolerant) Servers. The combined offering of VMware software on NEC's General Purpose and High Availability servers will enable IT organizations to maximize management efficiency and achieve the highest levels of Virtual Machine availability, while minimizing the total cost of ownership of their IT infrastructure. NEC will also resell and support VMware Workstation.
