On August 26, 2011, VMware acquired PacketMotion, Inc.
VMware also announced all technical support and maintenance services for the PacketMotion products will cease on December 31, 2012 (“EOSL Date”). VMware has retained the product experts you are used to working with in order to make this transition as smooth as possible.
| PacketMotion Inc. Products|| End of General Support
You may continue to obtain technical support and maintenance, if available, for the PacketMotion products based on your currently active maintenance agreement with PacketMotion or one of its partners. Continuation of support and maintenance would be at the same Support Level Agreement (SLA) terms as the original agreement you had with PacketMotion.
Customers should continue to use the same support tools and methods for logging support cases, as set forth at the PacketMotion web site.
If you have been obtaining technical support from a Partner for this product and still have an active support agreement in place with them, please continue to utilize that Partner’s preferred method for logging and resolving technical support cases.
If your current PacketMotion support and maintenance contract expires prior to December 31, 2012, please contact PacketMotion at PacketMotion@vmware.com to renew by October 31, 2011. Technical support can be purchased for the incremental number of days required to provide you with continued support coverage through December 31, 2012.
