Important Information Regarding the NeoAccel Acquisition

Support and licensing information for NeoAccel products acquired by VMware.

On January 14, 2011, VMware acquired NeoAccel, Inc.

VMware also announced all technical support and maintenance services for the NeoAccel products will cease on December 31, 2011 (“EOSL Date”). VMware has retained the product experts you are used to working with in order to make this transition as smooth as possible.


You may continue to obtain technical support and maintenance, if available, for the NeoAccel products based on your currently active maintenance agreement with NeoAccel or one of its partners. Continuation of support and maintenance would be at the same Support Level Agreement (SLA) terms as the previous Agreement.


Customers should continue to use the same support tools and methods for logging support cases, as set forth at the NeoAccel web site.


If you have been obtaining technical support from a Partner for this product and still have an active support agreement in place with them, please continue to utilize that Partner’s preferred method for logging and resolving technical support cases.

Support Contract Renewals

If your current NeoAccel support and maintenance contract expires prior to the EOSL Date, contact the party from whom you purchased your initial support contract to renew. Technical support can be purchased for the incremental number of days required to provide you with continued support coverage until the EOSL Date.
