This page displays the products you have purchased and the number of licenses available for activation.
To specify the number of licenses to activate for each product or feature:
- Enter the number in the # to Activate column.
Some products, such as VMware ESX, require licenses to be activated on a per CPU basis and in powers of two. For example, to generate a license file for a 4-CPU host, enter 2 to activate two VMware ESX license units. For all other licenses, enter the exact number to include in the license file. - Click Next to continue.
You may not be able to see all of your products on this page for one of the following reasons:
- You have already activated all licenses for a specific product.
- The licensing model you are using is not compatible with this product. For example, if you have selected Single Host as the licensing model, the page doesn't display VirtualCenter, which requires the Centralized License Server model.
