As part of the VMware Partner Network, Consulting and Integration Partners design, plan, integrate and deploy the most sophisticated virtual infrastructures to meet the demanding business needs of customers. With the Consulting and Integration Partner Program (CIPP), partners with a consulting or services-driven model gain focused enablement, collaborative planning, practice building and go-to-market resources. The CIPP is designed to support your business priorities, help drive strategic differentiation and maximize our mutual value in driving and delivering complex cloud and virtualization initiatives.
The CIPP has 4 program tiers. These tiers are designed to align to the services/consulting focus of the partner and are not based on a progression for a partner to obtain higher levels. Partners, regardless of their size, that focus on one core or Specialized area would align to the Specialized tier, while partners with multiple services/consulting focuses would be consider regional/national partners in the CIPP. Global & Global Premier partners are those that not only have multiple services practices but have also committed and met an annual revenue commitment around the resell and influence of VMware product.
CIPP Regional-National partners are focused on 3 or more services/consulting areas. These partners have multiple specialized services/consulting expertise in order to deliver across multiple solutions. An example of a Regional-National Partner profile might be a partner with infrastructure virtualization, end-user computing and virtualization of business critical applications services/consulting expertise.
CIPP Federal Partners
VMware recognizes selling into the U.S. Federal government has unique requirements. Upon approval, identified U.S. Federal System Integrators will be onboarded to the CIPP for the U.S. Federal Government and will gain specific access to VMware’s full range of Federal products and program benefits. Eligible Partners have more than USD $1 billion in revenue per year from systems integration and/or outsourcing technology service offerings. U.S. Federal System Integrators must have a Purchasing Agreement (for both “sell to” and “sell through”) business with a VMware Government Authorized Distributor and must use VMware’s Federal SKUs to purchase VMware authorized products for end user customers.
