  • Retrieve your Product Activation Key (PAK) code for the Cisco Nexus 1000V Software by either:
    • Reviewing the Product Licensing Order Confirmation email you received from VMware containing the Cisco PAK code for the Cisco Nexus 1000V license.
    • Viewing the order you placed with VMware on the Order History under Accounts once logged into My VMware.
  • Download the Cisco Nexus 1000V software from the Cisco website.
  • Create an account on the Cisco Website, if you do not already have one.
  • Register your PAK code at the Cisco website and follow the licensing instructions from Cisco to activate the Cisco Nexus 1000V software.
