T. Srinivasan Managing Director, VMware India & SAARC

T. Srinivasan is the Managing Director for VMware India & SAARC. In this role, he is responsible for VMware’s business operations – overseeing sales, marketing, services and channels in India and the SAARC economies (including Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka).

Srinivasan joined VMware in July 2009 and has since been responsible for the growth of VMware’s business in the region.

With over 30 years of sales and management experience in the Indian IT industry, Srinivasan has extensive working knowledge of the market. He has previously held senior positions with Oracle, Informatica, HP Software India, Mercury, EMC, Wipro and HCL in India.

Srinivasan joined VMware from Oracle India, where he was the Vice President of Technology Sales. At Oracle, he was responsible for managing the company’s technology sales business and led a large team of sales, pre-sales and alliance professionals.

Prior to Oracle, Srinivasan was the Managing Director for Mercury India where he was responsible for setting up the company’s operations and leading its growth in the country. When Mercury was later acquired by HP, he was appointed as the Executive Director for HP Software in India.

Srinivasan also served as the first Country Manager for EMC India. Srinivasan is based in Bangalore.
