Technology Alliance Program

Sell your solutions in a virtual environment with the VMware TAP Program. Get a comprehensive program with marketing and technical benefits. There are three ways to join:

Access Level

 

This is the entry level into the TAP Program. There is NO fee to join at this level. It is ideal for companies looking to establish a basic technology relationship with VMware. It offers benefits primarily designed to enable partners to learn about VMware platform. Other benefits available at the higher level may be available at this level for purchase. See details below.

Elite Level

 

This level is ideal for companies interested in deep and long-term relationship with VMware. It offers benefits designed to enable partners to learn, build and deploy their solutions on VMware platforms as well as provide support to mutual customers. In most cases, partners who need technical help and want to certify and market their product on VMware platforms join at Elite level. There is a $5,000 annual fee to join this level and partners are required to have at least one VMware Technical Sales Professional (VTSP) on their staff.

Global Level

 

This level is by invitation only, and typically suited for large companies who already have significant sales relationship with VMware. Alliances with Global level partners are managed by named alliance and technical alliance managers. Benefits are customized for members at this level and are therefore not explicitly called out here or in the Program Guide.
