The VMware Ready Management Program is a new ecosystem initiative to integrate and simplify comprehensive management of VMware virtual datacenter operating system(VDC-OS) environments. The goal of this program is to help customers integrate and simplify comprehensive management of virtual data center OS environments and provide better functionality, choice and reduced integration costs for partner management products. With this program, VMware is providing partners full access to its new vCenter Extensibility technologies—a rich set of management functionality and integration interfaces for the VMware vCenter management product portfolio. In addition partners get access to new best practices, technical qualification and logo programs that enable them to build on vCenter Extensibility and provide customers an easy way to identify VMware-optimized management solutions.

Simplify Management
The VMware Ready Management Program & vCenter Extensibility provides customers comprehensive functionality, choice and reduced integration costs for partner management products that extend or leverage the built-in manageability capabilities of VMware’s VDC-OS for end-to-end IT management processes spanning multiple administrative domains (e.g. security and virtualization) and heterogeneous virtualized and physical datacenter resources.
Management Technology for the Virtual Datacenter
vCenter Extensibility includes technology components of VMware vCenter Products such as: VMware’s management product portfolio based on VitualCenter Server, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and User-Interface (UI) plug-in architectures that facilitate the integration of VMware management functions into third-party management solutions.
