Automated Provisioning of virtualized infrastructure and Virtual Machines
vCenter allows easy integration of service request and automation solutions being used for service request management with policy-based provisioning of VMware virtual machines and virtual infrastructure (host, storage and network). vCenter Extensibility enables management products to kick-off the provisioning process through vCenter APIs and add the virtual machine to vCenter Server.
