VMware

List & Validate

There are two ways to list your virtual appliance on the VMware Solution Exchange.

Technology Alliance Partners can post both VMware Ready and non-validated virtual appliances on the VSX.

VMware Ready Virtual Appliances

VMware-Ready Virtual Appliances are validated, commercial, production-ready solutions that follow best practices and have been qualified for the VMware Ready program and then met standards for Virtual Appliances. These solutions are highlighted on the Virtual Appliance Marketplace letting customers know that these are ready-to-run best in class solutions. VMware will work together with VMware Ready virtual appliance partners on go-to-market opportunities.

Note that qualification for VMware Ready is required and is separate from virtual appliance testing. Meeting virtual appliance standards does not mean that a partner can use the VMware Ready logo unless the product is qualified in an appropriate VMware Ready category before it is tested as a virtual appliance.
