There are two ways to list your virtual appliance on the VMware Solution Exchange.
Developer-Contributed Virtual Appliances
Developer- Contributed virtual appliances are created by members of the virtualization and application community and typically include open source applications. Developer Contributed virtual appliances are provided by non-commercial ISVs only. Any developer can build and contribute virtual appliances under this category without becoming a VMware partner.
How to List a Developer-Contributed Virtual Appliance

Step 1: |
Register as a Developer in the VSX |

Step 2: |
Accept the click-through agreement to become a VSX Developer. |

Step 3: |
Click on "Administration" in the upper right hand corner, then on "Manage Products" in the Administation Center. |

Step 4: |
Click "Add a Product" and fill out the required information. |
