What are VMware Validated Designs?
VMware Validated Designs (VVD) are a set of comprehensive and extensively-tested blueprints for building and operating a standardized private cloud using VMware SDDC software. VVD delivers holistic datacenter-level designs to deploy and configure the complete VMware SDDC stack in a wide range of use cases, standard compliances, and detailed guidance to efficiently operate a VMware SDDC. These designs are developed with an emphasis of delivering customer scenarios and outcomes that are validated through the VMware Quality Engineering (QE) process. Implementing a VVD-based SDDC ensures customer to quickly realize business value, increase operating efficiency, and drives IT agility to support business requirements and growth.
Deliver the Right Architecture for the Software-Defined Data Center
The VMware Validated Design Certified Partner Architecture Program accelerates the adoption of standardization in use of the VMware Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies by the partner ecosystem. The program provides partners VVD-based Solution Enablement Toolkit (SET), resources, knowledge and support required to deliver a VVD aligned SDDC architecture and use cases.
VMware experts will certify the partner SDDC architectures that are powered by VMware technologies (software-defined compute, network, storage and management) upon validating that it meets the VMware Validated Design guidelines.
