VMware Ready designates VMware’s highest level of endorsement for products and solutions created by our established partners. VMware Technology Alliance Partner members can develop their products and solutions to meet VMware standards and submit them for testing and review. Products and solutions that meet VMware Ready requirements will display the VMware Ready logo.
The VMware Ready logo helps customers quickly identify VMware partner’s products and solutions that are optimized for VMware vSphere and VMware View. VMware Ready products and solutions interoperate seamlessly with a virtual infrastructure and have met specific VMware integration and interoperability standards. The VMware Ready logo indicates the unique features and capabilities of VMware-integrated products and solutions and a solid commitment of long-term feature support. Lower integration costs and the opportunity to eliminate legacy products that don’t deliver a complete solution for a virtualized infrastructure let customers save both money and manpower.
Each VMware Ready product and solution category requires successful completion of specific integration and interoperability testing. Customers can rely on VMware Ready products and solutions to be reliably inter-operable with a vSphere environment and to deliver unique features with significant value.

Hardware Products
Servers, storage arrays, I/O products and Virtual Desktop Client hardware are all validated for use through VMware’s Hardware Compatibility program.
Data Protection
Backup and data protection is a central requirement for any computer user. Partner solutions integrated with VMware products deliver advanced features and capabilities that aren’t available elsewhere.
Application Software
Applications in this category are fully supported by the partner, and have been tested to ensure reliable operation under fully-loaded conditions. These products do not integrate or interoperate with VMware products.
Mail Security
Cloud-ready, easily deployed virtual appliances that provide advanced messaging security features, tested for 100% compatibility with VMware’s Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance.
Management Solutions
Products that work directly with VMware vCenter for complete infrastructure management, reporting and monitoring.
Storage Virtual Appliances
Virtual machines developed and tested to the same standards as the storage products on VMware’s
Hardware Compatibility List for the reliability you expect in a form factor that’s fast and easy to deploy.
vStorage API for Array Integration
Components using the VAAI interface are delivered as value-added features to storage arrays listed on the
VMware Hardware Compatibility List. These components allow specific storage operations to be executed on the storage array, improving performance and reducing host overhead.
Desktop Solutions
End-to-end desktop solutions developed, validated and delivered for specific industries by Solution Providers. These solutions benefit both our partners and end-customers with accelerated implementation, higher security and reduced risk.

To participate in the VMware Ready Program, partners must be enrolled in the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. Some program categories require enrollment at the Elite level. Visit the TAP main page for information on the program, how to enroll, or how to upgrade your enrollment.
TAP members can download the VMware Ready Program Guide from VMware Partner Central. The program guide provides an overview of requirements for each category, as well as the terms of use for VMware Ready logo materials. Detailed guidance for specific programs can also be accessed through Partner Central, or as defined by the program.
