VMware vFabric RabbitMQ™

VMware vFabric RabbitMQ can be purchased in two ways:

• As part of vFabric Suite Advanced. Because vFabric Suite Advanced has a flexible licensing scheme, we recommend this option for customers who plan to run RabbitMQ on vSphere or multiple vFabric products in their environment. Learn more about pricing for vFabric Suite Advanced.
• As a standalone vFabric RabbitMQ perpetual license. Because this option is priced per physical CPU, we recommend it for customers who plan to run RabbitMQ only on physical infrastructure, and not on vSphere. This pricing is outlined below.

For customers who plan to run RabbitMQ on physical infrastructure, standalone vFabric RabbitMQ is available as a one-time license under which support and subscription (SnS) contracts can be renewed annually.

VMware offers a choice of support levels for standalone vFabric RabbitMQ:

• Production support entitles customers to 24 X 7 support.
• Basic support entitles customers to 12 X 5 support.

Standalone vFabric RabbitMQ is priced per RabbitMQ server. There is no charge per RabbitMQ client or AMQP client. vFabric RabbitMQ licensing entitles you to connect an unlimited number of RabbitMQ and AMQP clients to any vFabric RabbitMQ server. For example, if you deployed five vFabric RabbitMQ servers, each of which was accessed by 100 RabbitMQ clients, you would only need to pay for license five vFabric RabbitMQ servers, and not for the 100 RabbitMQ clients.

Standalone vFabric RabbitMQ is priced is per physical CPU that each RabbitMQ server runs on, with up to 6 cores per CPU. Each additional six cores require an additional license.
