A. Promotion is valid from March 14, 2013 through September 15, 2013 at 11:59PM PT (Pacific Time).

This promotion allows new and existing vSphere customers to 1) gain operational insights to improve availability and performance and 2) optimize capacity and grow virtual environments with confidence. Q. What are the requirements of this promotion?

A. In order to receive 15% discount for any upgrade to vSphere with Operations Management Edition or Acceleration Kit, the customer must have purchased the vSphere license by January 31, 2013. Eligible SKUs are listed below.

A. This promotion is available to all commercial, academic, and U.S. Federal end-user customers. Note that Academic discounts are not available for the vSphere with Operations Management Acceleration Kits.

Q. How can this promotion be purchased?

A. Purchases may be made through a VMware authorized reselling partner, via the VMware website or directly with VMware. OEM partners and VMware and service providers are also eligible.

Q: Are promotion purchases eligible for VMware programs?

A: This promotion is not eligible for VMware Volume Purchasing Program (VPP) or VMware Transactional Purchasing Program (TPP) discounts, but purchases are eligible for VPP or TPP points. This promotion cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts for the same product.

Q. Is Subscription and Support (SnS) required?

A. A minimum 1 year of SnS is required with purchase of any vSphere with Operations Management Acceleration Kit. A minimum 2-month of SnS is required with purchase of any upgrade license to vSphere with Operations Management Edition or Acceleration Kit.

Q. Is SnS discounted?

A. Discounts are not offered for VMware SnS.
