Description

VMware ThinApp is an application virtualization tool that helps you to move your Windows applications to the Cloud. You can place ThinApp packages on a physical or virtual desktop, either alone or as part of VMware View or Horizon Application Manager. ThinApp packages require no agent or infrastructure to operate on a Windows desktop: the small ThinApp runtime is embedded within each virtualized application. Packaged applications are fully portable and isolated from other applications and the operating system. This paper introduces application virtualization and ThinApp.
