Artur Skalski, Business Solutions Architect with VMware Accelerate Advisory Services in central EMEA, works directly with customers to evaluate the status of their IT virtualization, then develops architectures and actionable roadmaps to help them transform IT and their business.
Skalski has more than 20 years of proven IT industry experience in engineering, organizational transformation, solutions architecture, consulting and sales at leading companies such as Siemens AG, UBS AG, Verizon Business and Reichle& De-Massari AG. His vertical industry expertise includes financial services, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and the airline sector.
Prior to joining VMware in 2012, Skalski was at SAP security and compliance software vendor, Virtual Forge, responsible for global business development, consultancy and sales.
Skalski holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in business and administration from the Business School in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He also holds multiple pre-sales and architect technical certifications, including from Checkpoint Security and Cisco (Certified Design Professional (CCDP) and Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)).
