Daniel Bissonnette is Staff Business Solutions Strategist and a founding member of VMware Accelerate Advisory Services, where he is recognized as a thought leader in IT service delivery.
Bissonnette has 25 years of IT experience, including 13 years as an executive with companies such as Boeing; Thornburg Mortgage, a Fortune 1000 finance organization; and Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Positions included CIO, Vice President of IT Operations and Security, Director of Technology and Solution Architect.
Bissonnette joined VMware Accelerate Advisory Services in 2010. He leads a cross-functional team through collaborative strategic development engagements with VMware’s major clients in the healthcare, education, insurance, retail, high technology, and financial services industries as well as state and local governments to define and communicate their IT, virtualization, and cloud strategies. Bissonnette holds master’s degrees in business administration and technology management from the University of Phoenix and a degree in finance from Bentley College. He has formal training in strategy development, service transformation and program delivery. He also holds certifications in CISM, VSP, MCSE, CCEA, CCNA and others from organizations such as VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco, Comp TIA and ISACA.
