Ed Hoppitt, Business Solutions Architect for VMware Accelerate Advisory Services in EMEA, works directly with VMware clients to understand their existing IT environments and help create solutions that address current needs while preparing for future requirements.

Hoppitt has 13 years’ experience in the IT service industry. Prior to joining VMware in 2012 he was a principal architect for a leading global telecommunications company where, utilizing cloud technologies, he delivered a range of outsourced customer IT services deployments around the world. He also played a key role in delivering the global consulting and professional services practice for that organization.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with management from the University of London. Hoppitt is also an internationally recognized speaker on the use of cloud models.
