Prior to joining VMware in 2012, he was executive strategist and presales manager at CA Technologies, where he helped customers, outsourcers and service providers adopt new technologies that supported innovation in their businesses.

Boverino holds a master's degree in engineering from the University of Pavia. He is also an ITIL-certified professional and an ITAC-certified enterprise IT architect.
