Matthias Schorer is central EMEA (CEMEA) Lead and Business Solutions Architect with VMware Accelerate Advisory Services. He brings a thorough knowledge of IT systems architecture and software engineering in manufacturing and banking to the Accelerate Advisory Services team.
Prior to joining VMware, Schorer worked as advisor of strategic management at CSC, where he advised customers in the areas of IT architecture, legacy systems migration, cloud computing and virtualization. He also led CSC’s cloud computing task force. Before CSC, Schorer was technical chief architect of Fiducia IT AG for more than ten years, where he developed the agree® core banking system architecture. As technical director of CIMCO Ltd. in Bangkok, he was accountable for the development of the ERP system for the Asian market.
Schorer joined VMware in 2011. In addition to his responsibilities with Accelerate Advisory Services, he is CEMEA Enterprise Cloud Leader, where he is responsible for business development within VMware’s cloud computing sector.
He is a Certified Toastmaster by Toastmasters International, a popular speaker at various conferences and a VMware accredited spokesperson.
