Scott Magee is Business Solutions Strategist with VMware Accelerate Advisory Services in the Americas. He helps clients articulate and document their strategic IT infrastructure virtualization visions, plans and business value, and align them with their overall business and IT goals and strategies. He is passionate about removing cost and complexity from the virtualization journey.
Magee’s experience in infrastructure architecture and management, software development/application offerings and IT organizational alignment has been invaluable to clients looking to transform IT organizations into trusted, service-oriented IT-as-aservice (ITaaS) business partners.
Magee joined VMware in 2012, bringing 20 years of industry experience and IT leadership. For the past 11 years he served as CTO of a Chicago-based SaaS technology company. He has also served as engagement manager and director of technology of technology-based organizations focused on performance management and measurement.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota.
