OverviewvSphere 5.1 includes the vCenter Single Sign On Server which provides a Security Token Service for authentication services in the vSphere environment. The vCenter Single Sign On SDK provides an API that your client application can use to obtain SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) tokens for logging in to a vCenter Server.
