Data Object Description

The Extent data object type describes a chunk of consecutive logical blocks and their corresponding physical chunk.

Describing block extents is more efficient than mapping single blocks.

logicalStart	xsd:long	The logical start offset in bytes within the virtual disk.
physicalStart	xsd:long	The physical start offset in bytes within the mapping that contains this extent.
