Data Object Description

VirtualDevice.BackingInfo is a base data object type for information about the backing of a device in a virtual machine. We don't have any properties in the base type, but simply use it as a namespace for general-purpose subtypes. Individual device types define more refined subtypes for device-specific backing information.
